United Supermarkets began in 1916 when H.D. Snell opened a small family-owned grocery store in Sayre, Oklahoma, built on serving the local community. After expanding to Texas, the company planted lasting roots in Lubbock in 1956, growing into a trusted, community-focused grocer throughout West Texas. Since joining Albertsons Companies in 2013, United has continued to expand while staying true to its brand and legacy of friendly service, now operating 51 stores across Texas.
